Ft. Wayne and south (I-69 N, US-127 N):
1.
From
I-69 N, just north of Lansing, use
exit number 89B toward US-127 N/CLARE, then travel about 90 miles on US-127 N.
Remember to continue north on US-127; follow signs toward Mackinac Bridge.
2.
Take the
HARRISON/GLADWIN/M-61/US-127-BUS exit (mile marker 170).
3.
At the bottom of
the ramp, turn RIGHT onto M-61 toward Harrison and travel 2.1 miles to Lakeside
Motel.
From
Toledo and south (I-75 N):
1.
From I-75 N, take
US-23 N via exit number 192- toward MAUMEE/ANN ARBOR, then travel about 155
miles – Note that US-23 N merges into I-75 N just south of Flint.
2.
Take the US-10 W
exit number 162B- toward MIDLAND; travel on US-10 W about 49 miles.
3.
At Clare, stay
right to go onto US-127 N, then travel about 9 miles on US-127 N toward Mackinac
Bridge.
4.
Take the
HARRISON/GLADWIN/M-61/US-127-BUS exit (mile marker 170).
5.
At the bottom of
the ramp, turn RIGHT onto M-61 toward Harrison and travel 2.1 miles to Lakeside
Motel.
From the Detroit Area SW & NW Suburbs (I-275 N, I-96 W, US-23 N):
1.
From I-275 N,
merge onto I-96 W via the exit- on the left- toward LANSING and travel about 18
miles.
2.
Merge onto US-23 N
via exit number 148B toward FLINT, then travel about 79 miles – Note that
US-23 N merges into I-75 N just south of Flint.
3.
Take the US-10 W
exit number 162B- toward MIDLAND; travel on US-10 W about 49 miles.
4.
At Clare, stay
right to go onto US-127 N, then travel about 9 miles on US-127 N toward Mackinac
Bridge.
5.
Take the
HARRISON/GLADWIN/M-61/US-127-BUS exit (mile marker 170).
6. At the bottom of the ramp, turn RIGHT onto M-61 toward Harrison and travel 2.1 miles to Lakeside Motel.
From Detroit or North Suburbs (I-75 N):
1.
Take I-75 N toward
FLINT; from Pontiac, travel about 85 miles on I-75.
2.
Take the US-10 W
exit number 162B- toward MIDLAND; travel on US-10 W about 49 miles.
3.
At Clare, stay
right to go onto US-127 N, then travel about 9 miles on US-127 N toward Mackinac
Bridge.
4.
Take the
HARRISON/GLADWIN/M-61/US-127-BUS exit (mile marker 170).
5.
At the bottom of
the ramp, turn RIGHT onto M-61 toward Harrison and travel 2.1 miles to Lakeside
Motel.
From
Chicago (I-94 E), Holland (I-196 E) or Grand Rapids (US-131 N):
1.
From I-94 E, merge
onto I-196 N via exit number 34 toward HOLLAND/GD RAPIDS, then travel on I-196 E
about 77 miles.
2.
Merge onto US-131
N via exit number 77A- on the left- toward CADILLAC, then travel on US-131 N
about 67 miles.
3.
Take the US-10
exit- exit number 153- toward CLARE/LUDINGTON and turn RIGHT onto US-10 E toward
Clare; travel about 39 miles on US-10 E.
4.
Take the US-127 N
exit toward MACKINAC BRIDGE and merge onto US-127 N. Travel on US-127 N about 8
miles.
5.
Take the
HARRISON/GLADWIN/M-61/US-127-BUS exit (mile marker 170).
6.
At the bottom of
the ramp, turn RIGHT onto M-61 toward Harrison and travel 2.1 miles to Lakeside
Motel.
From
St. Ignace (I-75 S, US-127 S):
1.
From the
intersection of US-2 and I-75, follow I-75 S and cross the Mackinac Bridge (I-75
S). Travel on I-75 S for about 90 miles.
2.
Merge onto US-127
S via exit number 249 toward CLARE/LANSING; travel on US-127 S about 42 miles.
3.
Take the M-61 exit
(mile marker 170) toward GLADWIN and turn LEFT onto M-61 W toward Harrison and
travel 2 miles to Lakeside Motel.
