Our lakefront pavilion with picnic tables, BBQ grills and fire pit, sandy swimming beach, fishing dock and swim platform are available to all of our guests. There is plenty of room to tie up your ski-boat or personal watercraft; or rent one of our fishing, canoe or paddle boats.

The Lakeside is located directly on Budd Lake, a 175-acre lake that boasts great fishing. A large population of muskie, rock bass, pan fish, yellow perch, and walleye inhabit the lake. Fishing, swimming, speed boating and waterskiing are popular water sports. A modern concrete launch ramp is located right around the corner. Near major ORV trails and parks.

The famous Yoder's Amish Quilt Auction and Craft show is held the third weekend in May and Labor Day weekend every year (Friday and Saturday, no Sunday sales). Any time of year you may see Amish goods being sold by the wayside or at quaint Amish stores when you take the self-guided Amish country tour. 

Ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing are the major winter recreation activities in Clare County. There is also downhill skiing nearby, winter hiking, ORV trails and golfing at the annual Frost Bite Open Golf Tournament on Budd Lake.
